This unit is really good for small growing areas. If you are space -confined , this unit is ideal.
Its also very useful as a supplementary light, used alongside sodium or to provide additional uplighting or sidelighting in a larger setup.

This 50W is ideal for both growing and flowering as it provides powerful coverage in the relevant bands of the light spectrum.  If you need any specific spectrum for your requirements, please get in touch.

I brought one of these back in September to keep my chillies ticking over through the winter and have been really pleased with the results. Normally I just cut the leaves and stalk right back and water sparingly through out the winter with them perched on a window sill.I then decided to have a look around at other methods of growing, but did not like the option of SON or HID lamps in my cupboard. the main reasons being the amount of heat they give off and also the amount of electricity they chew up. I found this site and must admit to being quite sceptical at first, so decided to investigate the LED's they were using and so on with the power of the internet! The LED's they are using are the perfect wavelengths, tuned for the plant to grow and flower. I now have some great looking plants that have been flowering and even producing fruit. Although now have to keep cutting them back due to a small area and the rate at which they are growing! All I need to do now is wait for the good weather to arrive (keep my fingers crossed). I just hope we get a better summer than last year, but even if it is bad I could just pop the plants back in the cupboard! After ordering; the parcel arrived around 4 days later and was well packaged. I would definitely recommend these lamps. They may not be as cheap as CFL's but are manufactured in the UK, not slung together and made to a cheap standard as a lot of tat that comes from China. Lets face it you get what you pay for! As I said before my initial thoughts were sceptical but my lamp is on for around 15hrs a day everyday and has been on since september and is still going strong. The proof of the pudding is the great result of my plants! Very pleased:-)
