Our unit uses a mix of selected LED types to deliver an output spectrum that is suited to growing and flowering. We have targetted the important absorption peaks for chlorophyll
to ensure that plants can thrive under this unit. One big advantage in this approach in comparison to using HPS, is that we are not wasting energy in delivering light that a plant cannot use - the result is that you can expect the performance of a 600 to 800W CFL or HPS from this 300W unit.
